Bearded Ballads 1/30: Boxed In

Bearded Ballads

Yes, I'm sending you all over God's green Earth for a poem.  It's kind of like Easter, but here you'll be sure to not get a licorice flavored jelly bean.

Unless you don't like one of my poems, of course.

From www.thirtythirty.org:

Please note this is a private site, so only other members can see the poems. You can add users to your site by having them register using the registration link at the bottom of your page and then clicking the "Add Me!" button that shows up on your home page when they do. Both you and they will need to confirm via email.

Good luck finding all the eggs!

The Oracular Beard

Boxed In

I’ve done everything tonite,
but write.

These boxes
I’m poring through
hold nothing
save past accomplishments
that I barely remember.
Scraps of what life used to be.

People whom I barely recognize.

To hold up a mirror
of my new reflection
then nothing.

I will separate
consolidate
re-pack
until the next time
I’m feeling nostalgic.

  1. You are far from boxed in, my friend. You have an imagination!
